What is your professional background?
"I studied at Glasgow Caledonian University and graduated in 1997 with a degree in Accounting and Finance. I then trained with KPMG and became qualified in 2001. Since then, I have worked for several companies in various parts of the UK and have over 25 years of experience in the industry."
What is your favourite thing about Ground Up?
"My favourite thing about Ground Up is being part of a team that has the ability to take decisions and to contribute to the process that drives the company’s growth and progress."
What do you do when you’re not working to unwind? Any hobbies?
"I am a huge basketball fan, and I am a season ticket holder at the City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club. I also follow the clubs that my friends play at and really enjoyed following the Birmingham City University Elite Men’s Team during their highly successful 2024/25 season."
What’s your favourite place that you’ve visited?
"The Maldives, it’s quite simply paradise."
If you weren’t in this job, what do you think you’d be doing?
"I would be a DJ who owned a Performance Car Garage as I love music and have a passion for cars. I’d really like to learn everything about cars from the mechanics to bodywork repairs, to performance mapping."
What’s one quote that you live by?
"A winner never quits, and a quitter never wins."
