You may have already seen on our socials that a little under 2 months ago, we opened our first ever international office, in South Africa!
As an already national company, this was the next big move for us, and now was the perfect time. After months in the making, we currently have 4 members of staff based at our South Africa office.
You might be wondering why we chose South Africa, and the reasons are simple. At Ground Up, we never want to restrict the way we operate in any way, and this includes geographical restrictions. The staff that we have recruited in South Africa have a wealth of knowledge that has already had such a positive impact on our daily operations, and this just wouldn't have been possible if we were to restrict ourselves to recruitment within the UK only.
Kirstie, Maresa, Orrin and Lelethu are all working within the finance department at Ground Up, to streamline our processes and allow us to deal with a high workload efficiently. Between the 4 of them, they help with tasks such as bank reconciliation, invoicing, the sales ledger, client onboarding, balance sheet reconciliations and much more.
We have big plans for Ground Up's international future and we can't wait for you to see them.
