We recently attended an out-of-hours call-out for a property with a shattered window. Upon arrival, our engineer carried out a full assessment of the damage and confirmed that the glass posed a significant safety risk due to the extent of the breakage.
Because this occurred outside of normal hours, sourcing and fitting a replacement window immediately wasn’t possible for the resident. However, we ensured the next best thing – a secure and professional board-up to protect the property and its occupant. Using appropriate, high-quality materials, the damaged window was safely boarded up to eliminate hazards and prevent any security concerns.
Before leaving the site, our engineer completed a risk assessment to confirm that the area was fully safe. All debris and broken glass were cleared away to prevent injury and ensure peace of mind for the resident.
